Many of the skills that allow us to support immigrant friends and neighbors targeted by ICE are complementary to how we should be preparing for less structured actions that don’t look or feel like the rallies and standouts we've become used to. Grounded in lessons we've learned in Massachusetts and from blue cities across the U.S., this workshop will help participants build their active bystander, self-regulation, situational awareness, and de-escalation skills; assess their personal risk tolerance; and feel better prepared for various forms of noncooperation and protests.
